Amadi, Jefferson Earn 2025 Evangeline Paige Sudhalter Memorial Scholarships

Collegiate High School senior Franklin Amadi and Cedar Hill High School senior Isaiah Jefferson were the 2025 recipients of the Evangeline Paige Sudhalter Memorial Scholarship.

This year, the scholarship awarded a record $3,000 to each recipient.

Amadi will attend Texas State University in San Marcos with plans of becoming a team doctor for a professional sports team. He is active in his church and also volunteered at a local library.

Both Amadi and Jefferson earned Associate Degrees from Dallas College last week and will earn their diplomas from their respective high schools next Friday.

Jefferson will attend the University of Houston with plans of becoming a Pediatric Heart Surgeon. He was involved in the Cedar Hill Theatre Program and the Cedar Hill Tennis Team.

Since 2020, the Evangeline Paige Sudhalter Memorial Scholarship has presented a total of $18,000 to 12 recipients. Those recipients have gone on to attend the University of Houston, Texas State University, The University of Texas at Austin, Prairie View A&M University, Dillard University among other institutions of higher learning.
