Cedar Hill Football To Open 2025 Season Against Midlothian

The Cedar Hill High School Football Team will once again play a challenging schedule with six opponents that won at least one playoff game (including a state semifinalist and two state quarterfinalists).

There will be five home games and five away games. All games begin at 7 p.m,, with the exception of the Waxahachie game on October 17, which starts at 7:30 p.m. 

The Longhorns will open the season by hosting Midlothian on August 29. Cedar Hill earned a resounding 40-7 win over the Panthers in the 2024 opener, but Midlothian went on to finish the season at 10-3. Cedar Hill will host Midlothian for the first time since the State Championship season of 2014.

For the second straight year, Cedar Hill will travel to Allen for the Tom Landry Classic. On September 5. They’ll look for their first victory against the Eagles since 1977. Allen finished 13-1 last season.

Cedar Hill will host Red Oak for Homecoming on September 12. The Hawks finished 7-5 in 2024.

The Longhorns will open District 6A-11 Competition at Dallas Skyline – a program it has defeated three consecutive times.

They’ll return to host Lancaster on September 26. The Longhorns lost to the playoff-bound Tigers, 41-35 in overtime, last season.

Cedar Hill will travel to Mesquite on October 10 with a chance to win its second consecutive game against the Skeeters.

The Longhorns will look to defeat Waxahachie for the first time since 2022 on October 17 and travel to DeSoto for the Battle of Belt Line on October 24.

Senior Night will on Halloween Night vs. Mesquite Horn, followed by the season finale on November 6 at Duncanville.
