Cedar Hill High School senior cheerleader Jaiden Harp Kapaou is a star, on and off the field.

Kapaou is the Cedar Hill ISD Education Foundation (CHEF) Star Of The Show.

“I’ve been cheering for the team since freshman year,” Kapaou said. “The best part about being on the team is having fun every gameday and trying new things with my team.”

Kapaou said she’s learned a great deal from Cedar Hill Cheer Coach Melissa Douglas.

“She’s taught me that every battle can’t be won and that sometimes it’s not about you as an individual, it’s about what every individual came come together and do as a team,” Kapaou said.

In addition to Cheer, Kapaou serves on the Cedar Hill High School Student Council where she’s the parliamentarian.

“My mother taught me to treat everyone with respect and dignity because I wanted to be treated the same way,” Kapaou said.

Kapaou’s long time goal is to become a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent after graduating from college.
