Emmanuela Ayeni is very involved in Cedar Hill High School and through the community.
The CHHS senior was part of the Color Guard, performing at football games for the past two years.
“My favorite part about color guard is learning new skills and making friends with new people,” said Ayeni, the CHISD Star Of The Show for November 7. “Some of the best advice I’d ever received is ‘do not let anyone dim your light’.”
She credits Color Guard coach Kathy Boyd with helping her to “be patient and resilient.”
In addition to her contributions with Color Guard, Ayeni is a member of the CHHS National Honor Society and the Cedar Hill Mayor’s Teen Council.
After graduation, Ayeni plans to study Nursing with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
